
HEALTH CARE AS A PART OF IMPROVEMENT CARE EDUCATION

PRESERVATION OF STUDENTS' HEALTH AS TEACHING PROBLEM.
An insufficient state of health conditions of children and teenagers studying in educational institutions are an urgent problem of today. The steady decrease of healthy children and the growing flow of children who suffer by chronic pathology are considered by many researchers as a national tragedy in every country.
The intensification of educational process brings a large part of children from the groups of the risk till the groups of III / IV health that testifies the formation of resistant chronic pathology.
The results of my research work show that a series of common problems with students' health has been purely social instead of medical reasons. Consequence of this, research indicates that problems related to children and students are attention, concentration, memory and even nervous breakdowns. These difficulties which pedagogical communities connect frequently with laziness or unwillingness to learn, take place from unhealthy daily routine, wrong meal and wrong teaching techniques and methods. That is why we see the psychological frustrations caused by wrong implementation of educational process. Education system frequently makes changes to process of training, without consideration that the conditions of endurance and activities of children regularly decrease.
Big loads, constant degree of nervousness, stress and excitement leave their print on children's mentality, therefore various chronic diseases develop. Academic loads in the schools of “new” type are so great that a large part of the children and students are subjected to stress while studying.
In special researches of other authors it is shown that the state of students' health worsens constantly, in which actual volume of one week load (time spent in educational establishment and to performance of home tasks) results in increase of so called working student day up to 10-12 hours for trainee initial classes and up to 15-16 hours per day - for senior pupils. Teenagers psychological frustrations are noted to 1,5 times more often, than of children up to 14 years that it is due to anatomist-physiological features of teenage age (active physical development, puberty, neurohormonal reconstruction), psychosocial factors, and in determined degree pedagogical activity is depended on. There are plenty of diseases which can affect negatively on student's state of health and further training.
There is one more serious problem - ignorance of teachers about children's physiology and psychology - as well as headaches, fatigue and drowsiness. The teachers who do not know such features of physiological development are not able to work with them. Respectively, they begin “to search for” illness and find frequently, for example, vegetovascular dystonia.
However, as pedagogical workers are not able to take into account many features of every student, the school becomes an additional stress factor. It means that serious educational work with teachers, school psychologists and social teachers is necessary. It is also necessary to organise the interdisciplinary researches and complex work of education systems, public health and family.
Health protection is a significant aspect of the population, from which health depends and the subsequent generations, is the most important of today's task. Health of children and teenagers in any society and at any socio economic and political situations is most urgent problem and the subject of prime importance, as it defines the future of the country, the gene pool of the nation, scientific and economical potential of the society and, along with other demography ratings, is a sensitive barometer of socio economic development of the country.
Results of medical examinations testify that during the school period the state of students' health (both children and teenagers) worsens considerably. Each third graduate has a short-sightedness, infringement of the bearing, each fourth - pathology of cardiovascular system. During school period the number of children with diseases of nervous system grows to 2 times (neurosises, phobias, fears, neurotic reactions), plus organic diseases, including congenital and genetic caused pathology. There is also a deviation on the part of bone-muscular system (infringements of the bearing, flattening of the foot, the consequences of transferred rickets). Such information gives a special alarm about the condition of psychological health of every student. Therefore the problem of student's health becomes a priority for reform in educational system of modern school.
It is necessary to increase the role of education system in problem solving for health preservation and strengthening, formation of students' sound way of life. Modernization of the education system is caused by the need for revision of educational paradigm, caused occurrence of new forms and the contents of formation , as well as innovative decisions in preservation of health of student.
Health Care Education has its technologies of training to promote, reveal and activate the hidden resourses of each person, to formate the personal-intelligent activity by methods of research and model-experimental work.
Health care education is not an alternative to all other pedagogical systems and approaches. The main distinctive feature is health as priority, that is, a smart care of health as mandatory condition of educational process. It defines necessity of sequential formation of organisationally-pedagogical conditions - health care space where all teachers and students solve the common tasks connected with care of health and take up the responsibility for results. Thanks to such attitude that it is supplied not only the protection of health from adverse impacts, but also the development and strengthening of health of all participants of educational process. In such a manner, formation and preservation of health of children and teenagers is not only a physician-social, but also a teaching problem. Today, any teaching technology should be health care. On the one hand, Health Care Education is supplied by preservation and strengthening of the students' health, and from the other hand, it has a goal for health culture formation of all participants of educational process. Of course, it is wrong to blame only school in deterioration of the health of children and teenagers. There is no doubt that parents are responsible for well-being of their children. I should admit that during 9 - 11 years the influence on organism and schooler's mentality render plenty of factors not connected directly with school and process of teaching. And meanwhile, the main criterion of the overall performance of any school is health of student.But, first, the contribution of the school to this complex negative impact is quite great. Secondly, existing problems on preservation and strengthening health of modern schoolers can and should be solved directly in educational establishment on one simple reason that children are on the territory of educational establishment a large part of their time.
My project is directed to create such special conditions for preservation and strengthening of health of every graduate, who after leaving school, becomes a harmonious person who preserves and increases his/her own health. As you see, the goal is not satisfying standards of educational programs, but the goal is student himself. My forms of work do not lay claim to multi-purpose capability. It is just small attempt to solve the problem of preservation and strengthening of children's health throughout teaching at elementary school and after. All of us should remember that the state of health of rising generation is the most important well-being indicator of any society and state reflecting the present situation and giving forecast for the future.
If you want to help your child to preserve enough health during the educational process, do not neglect recommendations listed above, in such case the child/student will be able to receive a maximum benefit from time conducted at school.
